För att komma åt loggfilerna behöver du inte nödvändigtvis öppna en viss sökväg med Explorer:
- Med OpenVPN kan du öppna loggfilerna med bara två till tre klick. För att göra detta, klicka på pilen som pekar uppåt i aktivitetsfältet och högerklicka sedan på OpenVPN-symbolen (se skärmdump).
- Du kan öppna loggfilen för den aktuella anslutningen direkt med knappen "Visa logg". Alternativt kan du hitta inspelningarna för alla anslutningar manuellt under sökvägen: "C: \ Program Files \ OpenVPN \ log".
- I standardkonfigurationen för OpenVPN i Linux-distributioner hittar du utgången från OpenVPN i systemloggen. Beroende på Linux-derivatet finns det till exempel i "/ var / log / meddelanden" eller "/ var / log / syslog". Sök i denna systemlogg efter nyckelord som "VPN" för att få de rader du vill ha.
- Det senare fungerar till exempel helt enkelt med kommandot "grep" i terminalen: "grep VPN / var / log / syslog".
