DVI-I och DVI-D - Likheter och skillnader i anslutningarna
DVI-skärmanslutningen är indelad i namnen DVI-I och DVI-D. Det finns också DVI-A. Men denna standard är av liten betydelse i praktiken. Vi förklarar skillnaderna och likheterna i anslutningarna.
DVI-I eller DVI-D - vad är skillnaden?
Skillnaden ligger i mängden och kablarna på stiften. I grund och botten måste du fortfarande skilja mellan dubbel-länk- och enkellänk-kablar. Det kompletta sortimentet av stift används för dubbla länkar. Därför är högre upplösningar möjliga. DVI-D-kablar är bakåtkompatibla: du kan ansluta en sådan kabel till ett DVI-I-uttag. Detta fungerar inte i den andra riktningen, eftersom DVI-I-kabeln fortfarande har fyra analoga stift.
- DVI-I: Förutom digital kan dessa kablar också överföra analog data, vilket innebär att de kräver ytterligare fyra stift. Enkellänkkablar uppnår en upplösning på Full HD, dvs. 1920x1080 pixlar. Med dubbla länkkablar är upp till 2560 × 1600 pixlar vid 60 Hz möjliga tack vare de extra datalinjerna.
- DVI-D: Samma data gäller här som för DVI-I. Den enda skillnaden är att DVI-I också kan överföra analoga data. På skärmdumpen ser du en DVI-D-enkellänkanslutning. Jordstiftet är markerat med grönt. Med en DVI-I-anslutning finns det fortfarande de nämnda analoga spåren runt denna stift. När det gäller ett system med dubbellänkar, skulle området med rött markerat också fyllas fullständigt med två kolonnstift.
